CMKA OFFERS ACCREDITED TRAINING COURSE

 

 

The Missouri Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Program has recently approved Behavioral Analysis – An Interactive Session for education credit.  The course is worth a combined total of 24 education credits.

 

Behavioral Analysis – An Interactive Session will be offered several times each year, and by request with minimum attendance requirements.  The course is aimed primarily at investigators, law enforcement, security personnel and insurance adjusters. The course will cover:

  1. The format and fundamentals of specialized interviewing techniques for investigative personnel that has been proven successful in case development, suspect identification, and accusation of suspects.
  2. A structured frame of reference for the experienced interviewer who may not have had any formal training in this area.
  3. Improving the efficiency and proficiency in obtaining the TRUTH from individuals, witnesses, and victims in a legally acceptable manner.

 

Steve Brown will be instructing the course along with associate instructors. Mr. Brown is a Certified Instructor in behavioral analysis interviewing and investigation, including development of confidential sources for fact gathering and case development. 

He serves as a Sr. Investigator performing on-site investigations and interviews.

 

Mr. Brown is a US Air Force veteran and served three and one-half years in the Office of Special Investigation (OSI) and the Defense Investigative Service (DIS) in Washington, D.C.
